I like fiction the best. I have a few favorite authors, I have to like their writing style, has to keep me interested. I like Stephen King type books, also like some Autobiographies.I read a varity of different books, but fiction is my favorite.

Mostly fictional love stories (like Twilight by Stpehenie Meyer), because they are way more exciting than what actually happens. Fantasy books (like Uglies, Pretties, and Specials, all by Scott Westerfeld) to escape our box-like lives, and philosophy books to expand my horizons and increase my knowledge, like The God Delusion by Richard Dawkins.

books on economics and world trends - because that is what we experience daily.
books on spirituality - because that is what we should strive for.
books on our profession - because that keeps us alive.
fictional novels and stories - because from time to time, we want to unwind and do just nothing.
