peeing on the seat

I don't know why some many people have to say it that way. It makes it sound as though all men are bad and they are not. There are women at there that are bad too. What you should have said is what makes you angry about some men?

I get angry at some men for the same reasons that I get angry at some women. The lying, the cheating all the other crap that goes with it.

Nothing at all makes me angry about men in general because I don't think all men are the same. It's an impossible question to answer if you have a problem with being reductive about it.

However, I do get angry about what men are expected to be (i.e the crappy macho stereotypes that they are often expected to emulate whenever someone says "be a Man about it!") In a way, I guess you could say that's being "angry about men".

Pineforestkim: I'd suggest we've got a long way to go if being *somebody's* daughter, sister, mother (etc) is the prime factor that defines a woman's worthiness of respect (or right not to only be seen as a "sex object"). I think I see your point as you perhaps intended it but, really, can't we just be respected in our own right?

Lydia-being a bloke, i am sure there are quite a few things that make women angry about men, toilet seats up, late for dates, having to work late, this is important, that's important, and much more besides...but hey, we are NOT all the same--and we don't ALL lie,(as per rubikcubes statement), nor are we ALL male chauvinistic T.W.4.T.S.,(as per jessy1s statement). These two people have not met ALL men in this world, therefore are not really qualified to answer your post, except with stereo-typical bull poo...and should stay off the site if they cannot give a considered viewpoint. THAT is what annoy's me about "some" women-they stereotype men because of their failed past relationships.WE ARE NOT ALL THE SAME LADIES!!

That they exist. They take so many of the women.

But seriously, there are some men whose sole purpose in life is to sponge off women. It's sad that so many women put up with this for so long. Even a lot of the guys that work, in this day and age, do almost nothing around the house.

As Red from "The Red Green Show" used to close the show...

Remember guys, if you can't be good looking, you should at least be handy.

The toilet seat thingy. The men in my house think the bathroom is cleaned by the bathroom fairy. The towels magically get up off the floor and wash themselves. The dinner will somehow be cooked even though i'm at work.
They never listen.
They don't get periods.
They are stupid when they get drunk.
They deny looking at porn on the internet.
They can't aim at a toilet bowl.
They think that the bathroom fairy is also the sock fairy, and will somehow put pairs of socks back together.
They do stupid stuff like boiling the christmas turkey.
They will not get involved in decorating the house, yet as soon as I pick up the paintbrush, they want to be the gaffer.
They think they are always right.

It angers me, and also facinates me, that I can remember almost the exact words of the conversations I have with every single man I know, yet they often fail to remember that the conversation even took place.

It also pisses me off that men are never kind or selfless, never doing things for people just becuase it's nice or without alterior motives (I've never had a male neighbor bake ME cookies, er, bring some beer, or whatever, when I'm new in the neighborhood, unless they wanted a date), and so when they finally DO do something nice... like picking up your pencil for you, it's like some big deal... and everyone's like "Aww, how sweet of you!" and "Oh, Tom, you are so polite!" and all that crap. grrr...

It doesn't upset me that men don't listen though. After all, men hardly ever ask me to sit and listen to them whine about THEIR lame lives, so I can't complain there. Men and women just solve their problems differently. Women talk about them, men go off into their own little worlds to fix things by themselves, and I have accepted that.

But WHY are they still allowed to be forgetful and unthoughtful?!?!

mostly the girls love us despite us

the thing i despise most about other men is that 'you're the only one for me' that you hear every so often, and they usually ask it when they're at their lowest ebb, pissing drunk, maybe jobless and just thoroughly pitiful.

what self respecting girl would want that?

besides, it's a fact that they're not. if you've already botched it up, apologise, patch up what you can and move on. let her lead her life, be better in your next relationship and work to be more successful that way at least you've built up a case for getting back with her.

anyway. here's to better breakups!
