u can not return in time before the big bang time, coz if u think in the concept of time travel for a second,it depends on traveling with a speed exceeding the speed of light and thus theoretically the real time will be rational to how many times u r traveling and exceeding the spped of light, like for example if u travel 10 times the normal speed of light,a year in our normal concept will be 10 years in ur own time zone, coz u r traveling in reality 10 times more, but u depend on a specific kind of energy reaction to propel u beyond the speed of light, and theoretically, every kind of energy we know in our universe was created after the instant of the big bang,so again theoretically speaking, before the instant of the big bang there were no energy, thus no life, since the big bang is the zero time of the creation of all known kinds and shapes of energy and life in the universe, and if u want to go in time before that instant u will be contradicting with the laws of physics and logic, since there were no energy before that time,so what kind of energy u will use to travell before that instant the zero time, the big bang time,u will not find a source of energy to use since there were no energy before that time, and every thing we know started after that instant,so u will stop there at that instant,at the instant of the big bang,it is the most farthest point u can ever reach in time travel,i hope u understand what i just wrote above, read it well and good luck to you.

First: If there is nothing to exist, and, by its existent mark the fact of the time flow, does the time actually flow?
Well, according to the physics: no.
Time, is defined by many equations such as: t=s/v, which is the road the body made with the same speed. There are obviously tons of other equations which show the time in context of other physical actions, like electricity, acceleration, and so on.
BUT in every single situation, it has a context, will it be the matter itself, the waves (light, sound) or its movement and changes.
It's like making a sentence like:
And.
Is it a sentence? Well, even if it is, it doesn't tell us anything. But if you will say:
I was at my granny's with Sam and Susan.
It gives a meaning - the sentence would not be full, if there was no and.
Time is like "and". It can exist only in a context. If there is no Universe, there is no context. therefore there is no time. You can't move beyond the spot of a Big Bang. Unless you would be moving also across the space to another Universe, but the theory of Multiverse... well it's only a theory. No one can point a spot in the sky and say: that is another Universe.

Before the Big Bang, there was no time, no space, no matter. At least that is the common thought.
There are however people who believe that the universe is sort of like an oscillation, a beating heart which starts at a big bang, then ends in a big crunch and continues as a big bang. If that were true, going before the big bang would mean going to the end of the universe... This of course is merely speculation...
If you wish to read a neat book about it, try Stephen Hawking, " a brief history of time".

In theory time began with the bang, so you'd find out the hard way whether there was anything before the bang or not, but you wouldn't be able to tell anyone, there would be no matter or time and you wouldn't be coming back, or as they say: "There aint no place like that place anywhere near this place, and you can't get there from here nohow." It would have to be nexus, limbo, nothing but raw energy, say, maybe you're the guy who started it all?

The big bang didn't happen in time. It is happening now and it was happening 15 billion years ago. I think the big bang is exempt from time travel.

If time travel was possible, you hit the button "big bang" . Know where you'll land? At the foot of Moses who wrote: "In the beginning..." Wow! what an amazing experience would that be.

Assuming you could go back in time, you could not go back before the Big Bang because time did not exist before that.

You would have all the answers to all the questions.
The one problem you might have concerns your return to the present. One theory is you would cease to exist until your day of birth because you didn't exist before you were conceived.
The other theory says you have to return to the exact time you left.
Regardless,if you would lose all the information unless you solve the time travel problem.

Nope. Technically time began at the instant of the big bang so you can't go back in time before time began.

IF you could go back to that time,
there would be a tony spec of stuff
contaning everything this spec would still be around but it was so dense it exploded creaating what you see today
so IF you went back to that time you would be part of that spec you wouldnt be able to see much though because its so dense and no light to see with anyway
it wouldnt be that interesting
unless somehow you could see it explode
