but they haven't actually got the DVD or anthing, just downloaded a sort of preview from the web. www.win... something, i can't remember. I just want things link the start menu to appear the same as Vista... can anyone tell me where to download it from ..... for a brilliant 10 points!!

You're quite possibly talking about window blinds which can be found on the link below. They have a Vista skin, and based on my experience, their skins seem to be very good indeed.
I personally got fed up with the software, and have since uninstalled it (I also don't wanna pay for it) but have a look if you can't wait for Vista to come out!

if you want to view a sourced sample media display of windows vista your going to need to wait they ain't getting released and are still working on it and may not be available I seen one ages ago for what your refering to their isn't any on the web to see....
As for the illegal crap copies of vista they don't work their dodgy and full of virus's the best bet if you really want to see a file is go to microsoft.com and try their.

Do not use Vista until at least the release os service pack 1...
If you use it now they just want to know why it does'nt work.
