Pretty sure its not United Nation Organization!
Fine... its the arrangement of Files & Folders on your computer's memory like Hard disk etc. It keeps a track of how and where the files & folders are saved/

Simply put file organization is the structure behind how a set of objects (can be data files, paper files, thoughts, etc) are collected. Paper files tend to end up in folders stored in file cabinets (hopefully in some sort of order), files on your computer are likewise stored in a folder (or collection of folders) again hopefully in some sort of order. Normal files are identified by name, whereas music files can have extra data such as artist and title associated with them to help you organize them more efficiently.

Go to any work place, open any file cabinet, mostly, items will be in folders. that is an example of File Organization.
This same idea is applied to computer systems.

It is software that organises the data in a file.
A database is a type of file organisation.
There is also the simple text file and a keyed file organisation.
