I have tired and Tired and Tired to write a book but I get stuck I am trying to currently restart writing something from seventh grade called "The Summer of 74" a summer with 74 days its about who wanted to become an adult hes 16 and he goes to court and has until the end of summer to have a roof job and money, gets a job to report the hottest Parties in Osceola County. As well as a job at Disney World. Has a sister named Jennifer and loves her a lot and things happen as each day goes on. Chad the person telling the story gets a restraning order on his parents and stuff. After that I am lost is that something people would like to read????? If you have any ideas or inputs let me know

I think that that plotline is way too busy, too much is happening! Try to keep your favorite aspects of the plotline, and edit some extra twists out.

Maybe give the main character a problem and aleson he learns. Try to give it an over all fell and message. I would say to look up things such as conflit in lititure and terms. Writing is both an art and a science. I would also sugesstwrite a short story, and make that good, then bass a book on that. The screen play for the movie "Sling Blade" was based on a short story, both written by Billy Bob Thorton.

Hope you get some good ideas.

A plot is not just a series of events in the life of your main character. Your story lacks a premise on which to build a plot. There are books at the library that explain how to develop a plot. That would be a good place for you to start.
