i've had a few......
1) receptionist at a horse racecourse..... the managing director was one of the queen's cousins, and he has to be one of the most arrogant people who i have ever had the misfortune to meet... he once gave me a whole load of grief for putting a coffee cup down on his desk, and not turning the cup handle towards him... (i got revenge though.... i spat in the next cup of coffee he drank !!!)
2) 12 hour nightshifts, answering technial queries for orange mobile phones - i still can't get over just how many loonies are out there - i had death threats, abusive callers, and all kinds of other sh*t, just over mobile phone problems....
3) my first job was at JJB sports as a saturday sales assistant... i worked in the trainer department - i used to lace that many shoes that sometimes my fingers bled..... i even dreamed about lacing trainers in my sleep !!!
so - what are your work horror stories, and did u ever manage to get revenge ???

Few years ago I worked in Broiler Houses. Broilers are the chickens factory farmed for human consumtion. It was fecking horrible. 25, 000 chickens per house. They would come in as nice fluffy chicks and in a few weeks they'd be massive. The heat was bout 40 degrees in each house. Eventually as conditions became unbearably cramped they would start to cannibalise each other. When everything is white feathers a speck of blood would send them mad - peck each other to bits. Many were crushed or somehow got themselves caught in the mechanised grain feeders. My job was to remove the corspes and toss them in a skip. Bout a hundred dead ones each day in each house. The noise was deafening just the hum of the machines the sqwaking of distressed birds. And the smell..... bird dung and rotting flesh....

1. Working at a company called offshore rentals in Great Yarmouth. I had a long day (approximately ten hours by the time I'd caught the bus there and back as I didn't drive at the time). The person I was working with there had no social skills and an amazing ability to find the one sentence that would shut off all other conversation. I was there as a temp and she wouldn't explain to me what I was doing very well because she was the only one allowed to understand the filing system. Consequently I got a lot of stuff wrong and she shouted at me. One time she shouted at me because she ballsed up and when she realised what she'd done she didn't even apologise.
I didn't get revenge, but I wish I'd said "I'm getting a pet elephant called Neville next Tuesday" just to see if I got any sort of response. Bloody awful woman.
2. Trying to decipher addresses people had left on answering machine messages so that they could receive holiday brochures. At least one in every three was incomprehensible and had to be guessed because people mumble, don't know what their post code is or insist on giving their houses stupid names.

i've got in basic terms ever had one interest so i assume the worst and coolest interest I ever had substitute into assembling transformer instruments. particularly nonetheless, it substitute into neither undesirable nor cool, in basic terms boring. All I had to do substitute into decrease some wires to the the final option length, screw on a physique and positioned on some tape, or the two seal on a tray with a banding seal, and sorter some terminals onto the tip of the wires...you in all probability have no thought what i'm speaking approximately nonetheless lol

In high school, I had a weekend job cleaning the manure off calf stalls with a pressure water hose. The water pressure was high enough to clean even the dried-on stuff, but that meant that whenever the water stream got into corners and edges on the wooden constructions that made up the stalls, water would fly back in random, unexpected directions, sometimes landing a bit, or even a chunk of manure in my face, in my eye, and a few times in my mouth.
That was gross. Really gross.
Revenge? Well, I took that money they gave me, and I SPENT it! Bwahahahahaha!

wow you did have some sucky jobs! I feel your pain! I had a production job one time stuffing christmas balls into packaging and then sealing them...I might have made production one or two days a week but you could not get the higher pay unless you did it every day...that really sucked...
I also used to clean at a local gym as a second job...the locker rooms were not so bad but the men's bathroom was ewwww!

My worst job was as a telemarketer for a morning. I actually managed to make a sale, but the working conditions were horrendous. The boss, walked up and down the aisles of workstations, chain-smoking and insulting the people who weren't making enough sales (interestingly, smoking in the workplace is illegal in my city). After lunch, she changed her tune somewhat. She started screaming: "Make sales - It's firing day tomorrow!" I just took off my headset, handed it to her, and told her that I'd spare her the trouble of firing me and I just left.

The worst job I had was as a telemarketer. I lasted all of an hour and a half. Between the people called & the pressure from management.....it was just too much negativity for me.
