Anyone can eat whatever they want on Thanksgiving and you shouldn't feel sorry for them. Even people who aren't vegans or vegetarians won't eat a big Thanksgiving turkey today for various reasons. For example, maybe some people just don't like the taste of turkey. And you're comment by the way of you stuffing your face with a dead and cooked bird, it's disgusting. May you get fat. Enjoy!

I'm a vegetarian and celebrate with a bunch of vegetarian friends. We each bring a dish and have a huge assortment including all the traditional plates such as sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, garlic mashed potatoes, gravy and dressing, salads, rolls, pumpkin pie, wine. This year, we also served turkey, since we had some non-vegans at the dinner. But for the most part we just feast on non-meat food. No tofu or meat substitutes were served.

I feel sorry for the turkeys. There's one cooking in the oven right now. Just a few days ago the poor thing was running around happy and care free...or maybe it was caged and helpless and suffering...I might become a vegetarian...hmmm

Nope. It's their choice, just like it's mine to eat dead bird & dead cow. To each their own! :)

While you eat dead food or a corpse, others are eating healthy.
