There certainly seems to be some kind of obsessive compulsive disorder in there (OCD) and maybe some paranoia, just my opinion, I'm not a doctor, so if its really bothering you that much go see a GP.

Has something happened recently that may have triggered these thoughts? An accident in the family perhaps?

Are you stressed? that would explain the lack of sleep and if you're not sleeping then your eyes will be sensitive to the light becaus you're tired. If you have severe insomnia, then that could be causing the paranoia and OCD, tackle whatever it is thats stressing you out, and you should start to relax!

There could be many reasons for your feelings, so get to GP as soon as possible and talk it through.

But no, I dont think you have a mental problem!

You may have a form of OCD (obsessive-compulsive disorder)
Ask your doctor for a anti-depressant and something like GEODON, the combination of the two which really helped me.

Honey, you really need to see a therapist. You're having severe symptoms that are not normal and it's not your fault. It could be a chemical imbalance in your system. Mental illness is like anyother illness; it needs treatment. Please talk to a professional and get some relief so you can enjoy your life. All will be well. Godloveya.

My first thought was OCD, too. Go to google or ask.com and look it up. Then contact a Doctor. Lots of people have it. I know three people that do and their Doctors gave them Med's that made them MUCH better. Good Luck!
