i know im late on this but your comparing consoles and their main use is gaming so for me its the 360, sorry but for what its gonna cost for a PS3 i could build myself a pretty damn awsome pc. 360 has best online gaming ever and Sony is only copying XBL for their onlining as they know it works so well. There are some really good games on 360 now and they are getting better. I mean graphicaly its just getting silly now, how real must they be before people stop trying to out do each other. I play them for the fun and the game, yer grahics are part of it but it can look like the sharpest dimond in the world if its got no gameplay i wont touch it. 360 right now will get you online, decent games and loads of fun. If you really must look at PS3 then save you money give it 6 months to settle in the UK market then get one.

The obvious answer could be the Xbox, it's out now and with christmas coming, it is the toy of choice and all retailers are fighting to sell them so there is a bargain if you shop around. There is an ever growing catalogue of games and online gaming is fantastic. BUT and this is a big BUT, The PS3 will blow the pants off the 360, Blu-ray discs can hold 50GB of data, HD only 30GB, so there is a hell of a lot more potential to the Blu-ray.
I wouldn't be bothered about the PS3 only having a limited number of games out on release, remember the PS3 is out in Japan now, so there should be a healthy back-catalogue to choose from when it eventually lands on our shores.
Cost is one thing that doesn't bode well, but as all playstation owners remember the PS1 came in originally at £300 as well as the PS2, The xbox to come into market place at £250 approx seems a little cheap, indeed there was a rumour circulated that Microsoft gave the 360 project to 2 separate teams with the task of building the next gen consoles quickly, which does seem a little "rushed" .
My advice is to hang fire until the PS3 comes out before you decide to buy either. But the answer is your wallet will say 360 and your brain will say PS3.

PS3 is the greater value-effective decision do your analyze and notice what its comes with 'out of the container' and look at each and every of the advert-ons the 360 demands you will see that regardless of basically a million years subscription to xbox stay (which isnt greater effective than the PSN besides) makes the 360 value greater basically think of roughly possessing the console for 6-7 years how lots greater that could value you. by asserting the 360 is not any tournament for the PS3 meaning greater like it won't be able to save up with the PS3 making the PS3 greater effective. SH needless to say hasnt completed any analyze first of its spoke of as Assasins Creed, and seeing as they seem to think of that GTA would be a PS3 unique which its no longer, besides the undeniable fact that that's on different disks on the 360 and on a million disk on the PS3. And the only reason video games for the two consoles worsen comments on the PS3 is with the help of the fact the PS3 has greater skill so the pastime is extremely a dissapointment, however the element is they dont make the pastime separetly for each console, they make a million version (aside from issues like soal calibur had different particular characters for various consoles yet that doesnt take long to do) and that they only encode it in any different case. With the greater skill the PS3 has human beings anticipate the video games to look alot greater effective that's no longer the case besides the undeniable fact that with multi-platform video games. Use the detect area in this website, this question has been asked hundreds of situations you will locate your answer there, often basically cut back and paste.

Xbox 360 now... it has a much better "live" system that microsoft will keep at the top of the line, probably sony's major downfall for starting its online later. It is also coming out with its 2nd generation of games. Although Sony does have the "more powerful" and graphically inclined system, it is a big question whether developers will actually go that much beyond 360 standards because of cost reasons and such.... at this point games that are made for both systems will be about the same, PS3 won't blow them away. Plus you can buy about 4 extra 360 games will the price difference and get into the fun right away.

First of all, the X-Box 360 is a clunky, noisy console and you can't even play all the old X-Box games on it, only a few. The PS3 is introducing new, never used before technology, blu-ray disc technology and runs much quieter. Plus you can play PS1 and PS2 games on it no problem. It will blow all other consoles away. The PS1 dominated Nintendo and Sega Consoles, the PS2 dominated Nintendo, the X-Box and Sega have finally given up making their crappy consoles. The PS3 will kick Nintendo and X-Box's arses once again. I'm getting a Nintendo WII when it comes out though, it's a nice price and you can download all the classic NES games off the internet onto it. I'm definately getting a PS3 though, i know it's not going to dissapoint.
