My baby is 3 weeks old and has colic and I want to know what is the best and maybe the least expensive formula I can give him, I give him gas drop. I don't know if it is just gas he has or if it actualy a milk protien allergy.

I had to give my son soy formula, and I found that Walmart's Parent's Choice Soy with ARA/DHA he liked better than the more expensive ones, and he spit up less with this one too.

My baby at 3 weeks had really bad gas. I switched him to soy after talking with his doctor about it. That didn't help. He lived on the gas drops too. Then I saw Enfamil Gentlease and heard about Dr. Brown Bottles. I switched his formula to Enfamil Gentlease and the Dr. Brown Bottles...It was GREAT...The Dr. Brown Bottles are a little expensive but worth EVERY penny. I hope things get better for you soon.

I have a 3 month old and we had the same problem early on with her. The doctor placed her on Enfamil Gentle-ease and she has done great. It took a few days before we noticed the difference. Check with your local WIC office, if you qualify your doctor can write you a prescription and they will provide some of your formula. Hope this helps.

My son is 2months old and he has colic also, we put him on Similac Lactose Free Advance, and it is great. But Infamil brand, Gentleness, is good to. But you better check with your dr before changing his formula. I know it is hard when colic sets in. I hope things get better

Breastmilk is always best. It is the easiest to digest and what God intended for babies to drink. It is also ALOT less expensive than formula...it's free. Check out the website listed below, it is a treasure chest of helpful baby information!
