Why do you reckon I am NOT married - I can flirt with other people's wives (NOT that I do, btw) but no one can flirt with mine? ;-) LOL ... Seriously though, and I am not even exactly sure why, but I have always felt that another man's woman is completely off limits. And I tell you MissC, there have really been times where I have been desperately and lustfully attracted to some married women. It hasn't always been easy, but the way I look at it: Never do to others what you don't want done to you. There are men who get an ego kick out of flirting or even sleeping around with other people's wives - I personally think that sucks. Besides, sex alone isn't what it's all about, and I am not a type to share my LOVE with a third party (be it her husband, boyfriend, or otherwise).

But to answer your question: I think guys usually (not always though) start flirting with a married woman because they have picked up on a receptive signal or an opening of some sort. Whatever the case maybe I think one should always support his wife against cases of outright harassment and aggressive flirting, but otherwise I think it is up to the woman to put a quick end to any undesired and flirtatious advances. Sadly enough, women sometimes not-so-indirectly invite/encourage such third party flirtatious moves to either use as a psychological weapon against their husbands and/or prove to themselves and the whole world that they are still beautiful and desirable. It could also serve as a temporary distraction from the pains of an unhappy marriage, who know? ... This whole flirting business is a complicated issue, MissC.

You can come stand beside her when you notice someone at a club doing that to her and put your arm around her or give her a kiss in front of the other man so he will know she's with you. sometimes just be subtle is enough for a guy to get the hint. if he still continues to flirt with your wife punch his lights out lol. also you can ask your wife this bother you you can plainly see he's flirting with you and for her to stop it. maybe she dosnt' know or think he's flirting with her. but if she knows and she's doing it thats not right either. getting you upset over it. . does she do this often? if so warn her before going out that you don;t take kindly to her flirting in front of you . it shows she has no class and belittles you in front of her after all your her husband. she should show some restraint.

Look at him and pass a smile.

Days days after marriage I was travelling in a bus with my wife. Few boys (college students) got into our bus. They were standing beside my wife. They started passing comments on my wife standing in front of me. Looking at my wife's hair one of them commented that she may be using "bear balm" to have such a dark long hair. (In India long thick hair is treated as a matter of pride for the ladies) People believe that if "bear balm" is applied on hair they will have dark long hair like the tropical bears. Passed this comment and they all smiled to each other and looked at me for my opinion through silent expression. I too smiled. Bus reached the stocp where we need to get down and I called my wife. Then the boys realized we were husband and wife. I looked back at the boys and passed another smile... a good bye...

Nothing. I'd be flattered. My wife can handle anything. She can hear a line coming from a mile away and can turn a guy on his ear in a second.

Nothing no more, I tried to tell my wife about this guys flirting and what he really wanted and she kept on talking to him and so on.

So if that is what she wants, stuff her. It was the strew that broke the camels back.

I know this for sure!!!
My husband tells me that this guy is flirting with me on this guy's face and then proceeds to tell him "this flirting is all fun, dude, but it takes a real man to live with my woman. trust me, you don't want to try it!!!"
Surprisingly, i have found this is how men warn each other of danger!!! :)

There are laws against what I would consider doing and it would not even be socially acceptable for me to go into detail here.

I'd be proud that she was mine!!! and she's going home with me.

Flirting is not the same as "sleeping" with my wife.
