I have been on here for not that long and im a lesbian so i look at what people post on here about gay and lesbian people why does it matter about ur sexuality? To me its eather you are or ur not. Its like when u straight people down grade us i feel as though you are not sure of ur sexuality or ur parents didnt raise u with respect. u know that saying treet people the way u want to be treeted yeah learn that. If i realy cared what people think then i wouldnt be myself. If it true that we shouldnt be with the same sex then the only person we have to answer it is God. And just becouse we are gay doesnt mean that we dont beleive in him. And were not as stong as everyone else. I want answers to this.

I think people who are judgemental and ignorant have deep seated problems with their own sexuality and so they attack ours to make themselves feel better. God has nothing to do with their hateful words.

Why do people judge people would be a better question in my mind. We are all like a bunch of 2 or 3 year olds that have to label everyone and everything with a name and whether it is good or bad. I think the golden rule should be the #1 commandment and we should treat people as we want to be treated.
I think that we all care in varying degrees what people think of us. I mean why would you post this question if you didn't care what people think? The bottom line is that human kind is maturing and we are learning more and more to live and let live - and that is really the only way to insure we don't destroy ourselves in the long run.

Sexuality seems to be the most sensitive topic for people. Ever notice fundies don't get worked up about premarital sex, masturbation, underage sex, rape? Nope. Only gay sex.
I don't think all homophobes are closet gays but I think they're all AFRAID of being gay. It's an irrational fear and involves our most primal, private, sensitve sexual emotions. To conquer their fears they need to do anything they can to squash gays and gay sex.
It doesn't matter that gay sex has NOTHING to do with them. It's the mere fact people are having it that's the problem. They need to end all gay sex and their only means of doing so is to berate and insult those who have it in hopes they can eradicate and extinguish homosexuality.
It's hopeless because life doesn't work that way. Fortunately we live in a country that mostly protects our sexual orientation (but not marriage). We have no desire to extinguish our sexual feelings or deny ourselves that which we love so just tell them to go screw off.

People are just afriad of something different. They don' t want to stray from the norm. Let them fear it. It's only gonna end up tripping them up in the long run, because thing are starting to change, and they are going to have to deal with it. I don't think that God is going to sentance us to hell. It's not like everyone else on the planet dosent sin too. They are just as guitly of sin as us(if being gay is a sin in your eyes-its not in mine) I think that it's not a sin, because how the hell can you change who it is you fall in love with, you can't help it, and anyone in the world who has fallen in love gay, stright, or bi, should know that. I mean, I don't know aboout the rest of you, but did one random day, did you wake up and say "Oh, I think I'm gonna be gay for the rest of my life, just because." and have no reason for doing so. I highly doubt many of us, if any, did that

We are the current whipping boy of the country. In previous years is was People of African Dissent and before that it was Native Americans and I am sure there have been others. Some folks,usually the narrow minded and ignorant, just need someone to pick on and right now they are picking on homosexuals.

Forget what people think about you if you can. You are only accountable to God himself.
How can a God fearing person who tries to make someone else's life hell think they are better than you.
Just be good to others and live life true to your beliefs.
You will have more chance than most of going to heaven.

We need to remember not all straight ppl believe this!
I have striaght friends male and female who are completely fine with me being gay!
We should not tar everyone with the same brush
or are we to judge other people?
