From the question That you asked I believe that you are teen. I'm telling you don't became so angry with your parents. Time will show that they are right for some things . And for some not. I don't know but I can advice you just let it go...cuz next time when you will ask them...they will say ; he was so understaning time before...we should let now. In that way they will trust you more and undertand you when you don't push things.

good luck., and don't take it so seriously.

the really small difference in your life from missing any one social event calculated against getting along with your family weighs heavily in favor of staying home and acting as though somehow your family counts. In a very very short time that family will no longer be around you and then you can go to dances all day and all night if that is what you have decided is the top priority in your life. missing out of something a simple as a dance will most likely not have any long lasting effect on your life unless you choose to make a huge deal out of it then yes that and a couple hundred other incidents all added together with you keeping score about how you have been somehow wronged can easily turn your life into one of NO FUN for anyone ...you and the people that you are around.

How about trying to find out why it is that you are not being allowed to go and own up to whatever the reason the decision was made to not let you go 90% of the time it will be because of something else that you did or failed to due that could have effected the privilege of you going out. when you think that life is handing you lemons make lemonade and then share it.
