Usually April to October, although if the playoffs go long they could stretch into November now-- pitchers and catchers report for spring training in Feb, the rest early March I think

It depends on what you call the season. If you count spring training, the season begins in February. Pitchers and catchers report first, then the team, then they break into two leagues (Grapefruit League in Florida; Cactus League in Arizona). After about 20 games in that, they report to their respective cities. The regular season begins in April. The World Series Ends in October.
