well, a lot of times the giblets are wrapped in paper or plastic, so if you accidently left them inside, without removing those wrappers, you might think about removing them.

Nothing happens, you just have the gibblets in a paper bag, but you really need to wash your turkey out with cold water inside before you roast it.

That would make it look very unappealing/unattractive, (for the inside) I don't think you should cook it with the giblets. Some people use the giblets to make gravy or they fry them for appetizers etc. The stuffing is the most fun part so take out the giblets and use really nice herbs and vegetables. It's the same as if you stuffed it. You'll just need to cook it a little longer because you've cooked more weight.
