People have dispersed with the idle time necessary to be truly nostalgic, only a hint of a moment remains. Sad.

Nostalgia is a lump in the throat. Fortunately it doesn't last long. Good sense prevails. Maybe that's why, when you are younger nostalgia seems more powerful - you haven't yet acquired the good sense.
As an ex-pat, I've just watched a programme about the British Islands and the sea coast. A passing thought was, 'I'll go back there sometime', but then I remembered my creature comforts and mentally shook my head. You get used to the idea that the grass is not always greener - or, in the case of the UK, it's only greener because of all that rain.

Ha Ha - Yes I get it !! very funny - Still you do actually have a valid point.

People are getting nostalgic over things that are recent & only a few years old EG the 'reforming' of All Saints / Take That.

I even have seen people signing up for Friends Reunited who have JUST LEFT school !!!!
