I would go for it. Work experience is very important and valued. You can make yourself some money and get independance. And you can go back to college anytime, even part time or distance learning.

I've been where you are. If you are close to finishing, hang in there and finish your coursework. If you have just started and want to take time off to make money . Do it. Just remember that when you do go back you will be older.

You know education really is a sacrifice of your time that could be spent making money. But getting a job and living for today will not get you the nice future that you want.

I would recommend that you stay in school and get a part-time job. When I was in college I found that working on the weekends was the best way to focus on both school and work. If you need more money than the part-time job can provide, perhaps you can take out a student loan.

The biggest lesson I learned about education is it takes determination and faith in yourself to complete a degree. I've noticed that people who are successful in life realize this early on. They pick a course of study and complete it. It doesn't even matter if they decide to work in some other field later. A degree is a foot in the door. Completing your education gets you into the white collar world sooner... you start your life sooner... you make more money sooner... Don't give up on yourself (or you will be delaying a really nice future for pocket money today).

Follow Your Heart, If you already have a job lined up and know that you will be working soon like right now making enough money to support yourself, then do what you wish to do, On the other hand say you have to start looking for work if you were to leave school now, then you should just stay in school, I guess you would need to look at how long you have to go before Graduation if you are close to getting out then stay in school, Although I want tell you what to do, i would stay in school if you knew that schooling will help LAND YOU THAT JOB YOU NEED, If not and you are just going just to be going then work, But whatever you decide be sure you can live w/your decision. Take Care

When we left school I went straight out to work, my best mate went to further education and another friend went to University....We all ended up working for the Post Office earning the same money, following the same path...Lost contact with my uni mate, the other is after more college stuff now a consultant and I run my own Building Company.....Personally I always saw schooling and education as a way of the establishment finding out how much brainwashing can be crambed into a brain, though I appreciated the education I got, I have learnt a darn site more in the outside world..Good Luck, If you do work try for a trade,

If you stick it out to the end of your course you might be able to get a better job with your qualifications.

There are lots of things to consider. How long have you got to go to the end of your course? Could you get a part time job and continue studying? If you left now, could you come back on the course later? Wouod your job prospects be better if you qualified at the end of the course?

is the course your on full time only, if yes then try and get a weekend job, if the course allows for part time study, then you can get a part time job that also covers saturdays and then you can have all day sunday to finish off any outstanding bits of coursework that you may have. hope i helped.

Depends on what you want to be doing 10 or 20 years from now. Is this job going to be helpful to reach your 20 year goal? Or is it just a temporary financial fix.

you could do both study and find a partime job.
if you leave college now and go for search on full time job what about studying
do you have enough expirience to leave the college and convice your employer that you can work?
i suggest you do both. study and search for a part time job.
