I know I can't just set up anywhere, as I need a business lisence. Our teacher once suggested going to a store or event and asking them permission to work there... but where should i start? what kind of place would want an airbrush tattooing set up? i thought something christmasy with kids would be fun, but...??

If you want to make money at this, in all likelihood, so will someone else. Therefore expect to pay to set up shop. Airbrush artists working like this do so out of large shopping areas that have a lot of family travel, for instance. You could try a kiosk in malls - a great place by the Santa line - but too late for this season to arrange that, no doubt.

I have seen it at Renaissance type fairs, very large summer or winter festivals, and on Navy Pier in Chicago. Where there are these types of crowd, it seems to fit in.

If it's christmasy you aim for, try going to a local christmas store where the kids go to sit with santa or something. It would also be good to try the mall or a local airbrush shop somewhere. You could even try asking at Walmart just to start out because some Walmarts have airbrushing stands.
