Seriously, though, if you ever do find actual artifacts on your property, be a cool person and call up a museum or leave it be or something. Technically, it is your land, but looting is very skeazy on a variety of levels. There's the Indiana Jones "It belongs in a museum!" level, there's the terrible history of artifacts being stolen, particularly from natives level, and there's the fact that that stuff's not really yours. It's a part of our nation's history, it belongs to all of us, and you messing with it destroys a part of our cultural heritage. Also, messing with burial sites of all kinds? Bad. Very, very bad.
And that was the Archaeologist Lecture of the Day. But, seriously, that dude out West who hid the incredible native artifacts on his land for decades until he was too old to ranch anymore? Major hero, and he got to be in _National Geographic_.

oh man u r sooooooooooo lucky! Take it to get appraised. Ask how much it will be worth in the future. You may want to keep it a bit longer to get more money 4 it. You can take all or just some and keep it to pass down to future generations. Whatever u do, think hard about it.
