Dancing and fireworks...

I danced around the livingroom a bit when I heard but not on the 7th... on the 8th... when it was finally determined the Democrats not only had won the majority of the House but also the Senate.

Let's just hope that the democrats are able to FIX some of the mess the Republic party has gotten us into.

Celebrate what? More taxes, weak national security and every form of liberal agenda known to modern man?

To be fair, I also felt that the Republicans screwed up, but not all of the current ills are Mr. Bush's fault; a lot of it was inherited from Mr. "Can't Keep My Hands Off The Interns" Clinton and Jimmy "Goober" Carter.

I'll reserve judgement on the Democrats for now, however. This is their chance to make a difference, and if they can do it, I'll applaud them until my hands are raw. I don't really expect it, but I'll give them the benifit of the doubt for now. Believe me, I am watching you!
