I honestly do think it's time. We men have been guilty of mucking up the world 'til now; let's give 'em a chance.

I really would not want Hilary as president, though. The woman's agendas are absolutely frightening. Anyway, I don't really think the Dems will put her up in '08 and here's why...

They now control both houses of congress (not by much, but the majority is there) and they want a Democratic president in the Oval Office so badly that they can taste it. I don't think they will be willing to try a "social experiment" by alienating a very large part of the population. Hilary would have a herculean task of carrying the south - especially Texas, I think.

So, yes, I do feel that maybe it's time for a woman president. Look at the successful women heads of state throughout history: Indira Ghand and Margaret Thatcher come immediately to mind. But just not Hilary, I hope. Way too liberal, I think, for her own (and the country's) good.

Nope a woman should not be head of our country. Where's my source? The bible. Men are the head of the household like they are the head of the church. A woman is to submit herself to her husband, not run around and play leader. Our relations with certain countries would crash because they would laugh at America having a woman leader. Thinking that the men here, have not only lost their morals but have gone soft to allow women run them. There is nothing wrong with discussion between a husband and wife. But the husband should make the final decision. Ps I call if you call the sexiest or not. You can answer to God later, this is what he said and I'm following suit.

I wouldn't care if a candidate is a man, woman, black, white or whatever. I just want to see some qualified, competent people run for office. I'm weary of voting against some one rather than for some one.

Does it matter as long as they become a good president? Anyway there are strong rumours of Hilary Clinton running and also a good chance of Condalleza Rice running.

I have absolutely no problem with a woman running for president. I will however assassinate Hilary Clinton if she does.

Any other woman, no prob. ^_^

By the way, I'm kidding. I'm not going to kill Clinton.

yes - a country that tells everyone it is the leading light of the free world should not continue to be a country which appears to be governed at the highest level by white afluent men ... America has more black people and women than white men .. so why don't they get a shot at the Oval Office?
Lead by example ...

Why not, a lot of other countries have had good female presidents and the government worked well.

Yes a woman should run and be elected. I would not vote for Condi Rice because she supported Bush, Cheney, and Rummy in all their lies. She not only supported their lies she supported their "right" to lie to the American people.
