I have a new french door which still has wood stain on the glass. How can I clean it off without risking scratching the glass with a blade?

look on the can of stain. it permit you recognize what the solvent is for that product (probably paint thinner for oil based stain). you won't scratch the glass with a single edge razor blade if you hold it flat on the glass
