We always have the basics for thanksgiving dinner and enjoy spending time with each other. The women get together and do the cooking and the guys watch football and carve the ham and turkey. The day after, we always put up our Christmas tree.

Sometimes we go out of town to visit family. This year is different though. My parents aren't traveling because of gas, hotels, etc. They need to have money for Christmas, the house note,etc. Money is tight in my house but we are still happy. =) Normally, we watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Then mom cooks for about an hour. Then we bless the food, eat. Later, my dad and grandad watch football. Me, my mom, and my sister will go to the movies =)

after Grace we sit around the table and each person tells what they are most thankful for since the last thanksgiving we were together.

We all get naked .the whole family. make a huge bon fire in the back Yard and dance and sing around it.no. no drugs or alcohol is involved.then we put back on our cloths and eat dinner.and sing songs.my father is a ole Hippie.he started the tradition. great fun!.Peace

Always have lots of black olives on the table..lol.. One thanksgiving we ran out cause I ate them off my little fingers like black nail polish.(when a was like 6yrs.) So it our family joke . :-) even today I makes sure there is a extra can of it..lol..

We all go out to eat at a restaurant that way everyone can enjoy their meal and don't have to worry about cleaning up after.

We look for empty houses of those away for the Holiday.
