In the big scheme of things, Thanksgiving is really nothing but another day off to just sit around and eat anyway. It's really Christmas that I can't stand being shoved down my throat. I will change every radio station that's playing Christmas songs until I'm good and damned ready to hear them. I hate that the holidays have become so commercialized. Sorry for the bitterness.

I will be glad when the entire holiday season is over and it is 2007, no offense to anyone. Just know I have to work all through the holidays for other people that are on vacations and I will be able to go back to my regular schedule after the New Year. :)

yes, I will, becuase its all up to me to buy the food, to prepare it, cook it, serve it, & clean the dishes afterward, & I never get a thanks for the wonderful meal. PLus, I always have it on time!
As it is now, I have inlaws that are demanding we show up, & I do the dishes no matter what!! But, when I told them how many times I did the meal, not once did you guys bother to help with the dishes, even when i asked, all I got was sorry, we only eat the meal!
So when the whole thanksgiving thing is all over I'm very thankful, thats when the family leaves us alone, atleast until Chirstmas, but since we dont get them anything, they pretty much stay clear of us.
Dont ya just love the holidays?? I personally cant stand them, their too overly commercialized.
