I need some advice, 6 months ago, I had a very bad attack of infection of the ovaries, i was sent to Emergency room, I was told i needed surgery after i get infection out, they gave me oxycondine, made me very ill and sick, I stopped the pills, And after 2 weeks the doctor told me to take bufferin, Every other 2 days or so, I feel like its coming back, Bad newsd i do not have any insurance and no doctors will accept me to get the surgery done, and i have soo many cysts in me, also, Will I die? And can i use something else other then bufferin everyday without going to a doctor to get a perscription, I live normally now, But i walk alot too, and that my job requires it, So I gained so much weight, and my side hurts every otherday, somedays it disappears and the next day iam in pain again, so can anyone give me advice, hopefully from a Doctor

If the doctor gave you Oxycontin then they must know that your pain is severe. That is a heavy duty narcotic. That being said, Bufferin will likely not be of any help to you. YOu can et Tylenol#1 without a prescription, it's Tylenol with a little bit of Codeine in it, it shouldn't make you sick. Aleve will also help due to it's antinflammatory properties. I'm Canadian so I can't help with the insurance situation because our system is different here but I do know that you need treatment. You will not die but your quality of life sounds like it's suffering. I wish you luck.

Sweetheart, you don't need a doctor to answer this one.

Call Planned Parenthood or your local Health Department to help you get the treatment you need. They can also help you get the names of doctors or hospitals in the area that will take patients that cannot pay. There are women's clinics out there that were created just to help someone like you. I work for a hospital that won't turn a patient away just because they can't pay. There are lots of them around the country.

The medication you listed is for pain, not infection. I hope they also gave you antibiotics. If not, please go to another hospital!! You will still need surgery.

The sooner you call them, the faster you will get better. Please don't wait another week!

No, you won't die. You will be very uncomfortable though! I suggest you speak to your local hospital about this problem. There are surgery assistance programs available! You can apply for a grant to pay for the surgery. Talk to the hospital.
