The correct term for the subject is "mathematics", indeed a plural subject with many branches, and it can be abbreviated either with "math" or "maths". Abi is expecting not only the answer but also an explanation of how to do the question. She's not lazy. The 3.99 is obviously the smallest, because it's less than 4. The 4.1 is next, because it is equivalent to 4.10 and 4.100, which is smaller than the other two. Using the same approach in the hundredths and thousandths places, 4.120 is smaller than 4.214, so 4.12 comes next, and 4.214 last. Abi, review the place values of decimals and this kind of question will be easier next time.

3.99 as lowest, 4.1 next lowest, then 4.12 and the highest is 4.214 Hope I passed, if I did I sure hope this is not hard for you, if so ask that is easy.
