I was advised to clear this section.

I think its in the control panel but i dont know where to go from there

You can access that program from the control panel, but you can get to it quicker going to Internet Explorer. Open the Internet Explorer, go to tools, then Internet options, on the window that opens up you should see a section that says delete cookies, delete temporary Internet files. Do both! When the box opens up and ask if you wish to delete all off-line content and say yes.

get rid of IE (internet explorer) and start using firefox. it has its own privacy eraser built in, and if you go to TOOLS > CLEAR PRIVATE DATA you can choose what to erase, cache included.

IE is over rated and not even helpful. firefox has been tabbing its browsers for years, which makes for a better online searching session.
