I need an ORIGINAL topic, one that's not burnt out or used too often. Suggested topics are things like self esteem, drug/alcohol abuse, team work, peer pressure, etc. Also, I have to present it in an interesting and original way (puppets, skits, costumes, etc.) Any ideas?

I need an ORIGINAL topic to talk about for 20 minutes to kids ages 4-9. It needs to be something that's not burnt out or used to often. Suggested things are peer pressure, drugs/alcohol, teamwork, etc. But I need something NEW AND ORIGINAL, or at least need to present it in a NEW AND ORIGINAL way. They suggest using puppets or dressing up in a costume. One girl I know dressed up as a super-hero: Captian Kindness.
I get graded on originality, PLEASE HELP!!!

Check out http://www.ClassTopic.com They have some great topics that I've used in the past. Each topic has three good sources to get you started on the research, too.

I suggest the "How to Calculate Pi By Throwing Frozen Hot Dogs" topic. It's under Archives > How To.

Peer pressure would be a great topic and it lends itself well to puppet plays and skits. This age group is key in addressing the dangers of smoking, bullying, or alcohol abuse, for example.

These sites may give you some ideas. I hope they help.

You should do peer pressure, and do a puppet show of maybe bullies trying to get someone to steal something.
Just an idea.

those really, really good life looking, almost life size puppets are fab, a lot of school in the UK use them as children relate to them like a real being. (Their extreemly expensive but stuningly beautiful)
some topics could be, bullying, friends, popular toys, siblings, life, war, killing, education (yeah thats good, ask kids what their ideal day of school would be)
