Final Fantasy VII: Advent children is set two years after the end events of Final Fantasy VII.

Final Fantasy VII follows the story of Cloud Strife, an ex-member of soilder. After quitting he joins his childhood friend, Tifa and becomes a member of avalanache as a merchanary. After destroying a reactor, he meets Aeris and Shinra is after them. The group (Tifa, Cloud and Barret) storm into it and Rufus captures Aeris and meet Red XIII in the building. When the president is discovered dead it is determined Spehiroth is still alive and the group run away and begin a quest to hunt down Sephiroth.

Along the way meeting Cid, Yuffie and Vincent. Along the way Shrina is hot on their tails (Rufus-president, other heads) and Cloud discovers he's not who he thinks he is and Tifa helps him to find his true self after Sepiroth tampered with him and unleashed the Weapons (Ultima, Diamond etc.) and then Cloud and the gang plan a battle to destroy Sephiroth and to unleash Holy in order to save the dying planet.

Final Fantasy VII: Advent children is set two years after the end events of Final Fantasy VII. But you'll love it even more if you play through the game, its an amazing game.

Um you should serach around on the DVD it should have a 10min video of the game cut scenes to show what the story is about.But, this is a short of what it is about.The game's story centers on a group of adventurers as they battle a powerful mega corporation called "Shin-Ra", which is draining the life of the planet to use as an energy source. As the story progresses, conflicts escalate and the world's safety becomes a major concern.
