People from England are always welcome in Japan, there are companies if they deal in English matter they won't need Japanese qualification. Therefore, you better go to the nearest Jetro (Japan External Trade office) get address of company you are interested in send them Resume. Or try to locate them by Internet fill out their form.

Job competition is tough here.

Wish you success

Regrettably it is difficult.

They need the foreigner as a translator, a native speaker, and a foreign business manager.

However, the foreigner of a programmer or a designer is unnecessary for them.

Because, they have to have communication precisely to each other.
It's required like the capability to read a Japanese newspaper.
And therefore, you have to memorise the Chinese character of about 3000 words over.

KONAMI and a SQUARE may be looking for the foreign game creator several years ago in Hawaii.

But it is not inviting now.

It actually depends on where you get your games course. If you get it from here (U.S.A) they might permit you to work there .... but if you get from somewhere else I am not so sure.

Start your career in the UK first.
And maybe you better start to learn Japanese as well.
