Several Reasons: 1) Display of Wealth, we all respond to the colour of gold its Pretty. 2) Lack of Taste Nuff Said 3) Ready money. Can be pawned in hard times 4) Knuckleduster. They hurt if your hit with them 5) Present from a loved one OK??
