I think that you're mistaking Tupac for rapper EAzy E. Eazy E was a drug dealer before he began rapping with the group "NWA" and he died from aids in march of 1995.

No, Tupac was a highly educated HipHop Legend who was killed by the LAPD.
Eazy-E was the drug dealer who died from Aids. I don't know his education level, but he used to rap with the West Coast group NWA.
