Starting off since I live near the University of Chicago is that this school is mainly a research university geared towards mostly sciences, medicine, and law so if you're not really gearing your educational plans into those areas it's not a school you would consider to applying to. The pros is that those who have gone through it have scored fairly good jobs and established successful careers as educators, doctors and lawyers. Northwestern University is known mainly for it's law, medical, and theater schools. NU requires at least a B average or higher or you have to score a certain percentile for the ACT and SATs for those with grades lower than a B.
