If you smoke or drink minimize that amount as these two things interfere with healing processes as they rob the body of oxygen, water, nutrients and vitamins which interferes with healing processes.

Go check this one out a woman asked a similar question and it is loaded with great answers from ice packs alternated with warm packs. Along with using physicians makeup to conceal it. And there are many different types of medications such as using hemmorhoid cream which they say can reduce swelling but I would not use that as they have better more appropriate ones there let me go look around and find a few that I thought were great. Also add B complex vitamins because they help the healing processes, a good diet, plenty of rest and exercise that is easy and aerobic to prevent sweating to increase blood circulation and healing to all the body which will include that region, foods with vitamin C and Vitamin C which is needed in cell wall construction etc. I got punched once and I just did this it was gone in three days.
Green based make up helps conceal red or purply tones. Whatever color it is you can use the opposite color on the color wheel to help conceal it. That is why that green lipstick/lipgloss turns lips pink as it conceals some of the red in the lips.
Avoid makeup if you can but if you have to use it practise applying it prior to going to work. I would use a good concealer such as the recommended Physicians Cosmetics they use to sell it at Walgreens where I worked while in college and it seems to be a decent cosmetic (green tones if purple or reddish to help neutralize the color). Be sure to gently pat it on as rubbing it will only make it worse. Then put on a very close to your skin color foundation and blend it in to match the rest of your skin. Then afterwards pat on gently a foundation setting powder of a similar color I like corn silk as it is loose powder and works well lasts a long time. Makeup is ok if you do not work in an environment where you sweat but it comes off all over your clothing if you are doing sports etc. and may ruin your clothing I learned in college such that as my teen year freckles were gone I stopped wearing foundation.

But this is what someone said at the other one I have not ever heard about before.

Make-up to hide it, but importantly you can buy this stuff called, "Arnica". It's a cream (which does stink, so use it overnight) but it almost "sucks" out the dried blood that is in the skin. I used it after a black eye and the bruising went away within a couple days. Hope this helps.

From the other question
This sounds interesting and like a very modern natural remedy

plz apply sandal powed (red is better)and honey sandal not only cool but helps in healing faster honey acts as a moisturiser and also reduces your marks to an extent

before going out apply conceler and try to use eye shadow to ur other eye and the colour must be similar to ur injured eye then u will feel better .just do it
munkymadn...
Physicians Formula: Gentle Cover Concealer. its in a lipstick tube kinda... and its green. but the green color conceals almost all colors. so just rub some of this stuff on your finger and apply it directly to your injury. just pat it dont rub it.. and then get Dream Matte Mousse from Maybelline.

Use concealer under your eye. Then foundation and pressed powder all over you face, emphasazing on your eye lid.

The trick that never fails is to wear purple eye shadow and wear black liqued eye liner to conceal the swollen eyelids. Heavy mascara or even fake eye lashes will help cover up the swollen eyelids.
You can also treat the swellness with Motrin and a bag of frozen peas. Perparation H always helps the swelling (I know that it sounds gross but it helps A LOT!!). The bag of pea idea is a good idea because the peas if separated can fit well into the crevices of the eye.
Use a little caution with things like this. It happens most of us have had a black eye at one time or another.
At the other question there is a big list of ideas many which will help and work be careful which ones you select.

hmmmmmmmm, you did not say where the swelling is and if from an allergic reaction or injury? if an acute allergic reaction you may need benadryl or a steroid injection or even an epip injection, so go the the Urgent Care or ER. if an injury...ice it down 3 times a day for 20 minutes at a time and keep the area elevated. after 24hours, you may use heat to the affected area and continute to keep it elevated. ibuprofen will be good for the pain and inflammation, but take with food or milk as it is harsh on the stomach. follow up with your family doctor if not better in 2-3 days.

There are several systems to improve rapidly and naturally vision.
To know how to do that you can discover here a compelte technique focused around researches done by some researcher, for a shabby price: ( http://getyourvisionbacknow.keysolve.net )

I can provide for you simply a few tips however I recommend to give a look to the technique that i posted above...for illustration you can take more sustenance that holds vitamin A, for example, carrots may help to naturally improve your vision. We can likewise dependably do exercises. There are exercises, for example, rolling your eyeball to form an undetectable square that are constantly recommended by the doctors to improve one's vision. I don't think about rapidly as there is no quick approach to reach one's objective. Vegetarians can help to improve one's vision. I accept it in light of the fact that I am a vegetarian and my eye short-sightedness power remains the same without any increase after around 2 years. The doctor was stunned in light of the fact that teenagers at my years will normally have a most increase since we are continually staring at the TV, playing computers furthermore reading. I don't know whether it is completely true or not yet it does influence a bit on the result. At any rate i propose to check the connection that I posted.

Swollen eye needs to be seen by the eye doctor immediately.

I cant believe you are worrying about your appearence.

You should worry about the damage it may cause.

Have it checked by an eye doctor, as innocent looking injuries can also cause severe injuries leading to loss of vision.

As far as the swelling is concerened as other suggested apply ice packs

Yikes to above answer....sometimes less is more!
As for your question- ice packs directly to the skin for 30 minutes, then off for 1-2 hours, then repeat. NSAIDS like Advil can reduce swelling. You probably will have a black eye, but you can use concealer to hide it. BTW- did you win?!?!

Most people believe that once they are diagnosed with some vision problem and start wearing eye glasses or contact lenses to correct them, they will have to do so for life in order to see better. Those who want a permanent solution to improve eyesight typically resort to Lasik or other corrective eye surgeries. But you you can also improve your vision without surgery and can see perfectly well without using eyeglasses or contact lenses. You can check here to know how https://tr.im/73ed3
