i think that is so unfair of your girlfriends mate to presume that..are you gay?i think you need to have a good chat with them both....

Is she upset because she thinks you are gay, or because her friends are saying that you're gay? If it's the first one, I can't really suggest anything. I'm below novice when it comes to fixing lover's relationships. If it's the second one, just ignore them. If they want to make such stupid and petty judgments, then let them be stupid fools. If you can't ignore them, then tell them that most artists are straight. For example; Pablo Picasso always had a new mistress by the end of the month, Salvador Dali was married (although they say he was bisexual). Anyway, just forget about them.

Tell her that you are not a gay. Ask her if she has time to talk on this matter. Go for a cup of coffee or drink. Clear the issue as early as possible. Otherwise she would think that you are really a gay, that's why you are not facing this topic to discuss.

I've had people think I'm a painter too. It's terrible, you just have to live your life honestly and tell the truth. Think what they may, that really wasn't paint under my fingernails. The place just smelled like turpentine by coincidence. It wasn't me, honest.
