Yeah. While he lounged around in the luxurious comfort of Camp David (and his staff actually dialed the phone for him), U.S. soldiers were risking their lives in Iraq.
As Commander-In-Chief, why wasn't Bush right there on the front lines leading his troops into battle on this Thanksgiving Day (and on every other day of the year, for that matter)? Bush is a liar, a coward, and a psychopath.
Why hasn't he - even once - visited Dover Air Force Base to meet incoming flag-draped caskets of dead soldiers (because his handlers say it would be a "pr nightmare"). -RKO-

That was nice of him.

How many service people did you call today just to wish them Happy Thanksgiving or anything? Easy to sit in judgement of isn't it - when you wouldn't think of even the gesture.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.

You have to give him a tiny amount of credit. While making phone calls to 10 troops is pathetic and insulting, it puts him WAY ahead (in terms of action) of most who yap about "supporting the troops."
