Has anyone ever tried it? If I had two cell phones, I would do it myself, but I don't. I guess you call one cell with the other cell, prop the phones up, place the egg inbetween them, and then wait one hour. Supposedly, the egg cooks almost completely after this time has passes. Any input on this?

Okay maybe I shouldn't be answering this question. For one I've never even heard or read about that. However I do know from first hand experience...that a cell phone will cause a microwave to arc. I was cooking something, and a cell phone was about six inches from the microwave. As soon as I started the microwave it arced. Moved the cell phone, and the microwave worked just fine. Cell phones are a strange thing.

URBAN LEGEND.

The guy who started the legend did it with an offhand thoughtless remark & was amazed that anyone paid attention, much less how out-of-proportion it became. Even 20 cell phones cannot cook an egg. The energy is mainly from the tower, which may be in the direction opposite from the egg. Regardless, the wattage just isn't there - it's physically impossible. Try it at home & you will see for yourself.
