Kelly was doing an interview and Clay Aiken was on the show, and Clay covered Kelly's mouth and Kelly says" Don't cover my mouth! I don't know where your hands been"!

The next day Roise had made a comment(on the View) about what she said, and called Kelly a gay basher! Do you think any one of them was right??? Who do you go for???

I think the hippo is trying to make a big stink over nothing in order to get ratings. If someone tried to cover my mouth like that, they would have limped home from the E.R.

1. Did it ever occur to anyone that Clay had no right touching her body — he invaded her personal space.

2. Did it ever occur to anyone that perhaps Kelly had something else in mind like 'handwashing' in the men's room, after a good healthy one. You never know the hygienic habits of others. I would not want his hand on my mouth either.

3. I am not a big fan of Kelly, in fact I find her rude most of the time, but I attribute it to pure, honest ignorance — not maliciousness.

4. Rosie has a bigger competitor — Ellen. My best guess is that she's doing anything to get back in the news, no matter how dispicable her accusations. Rosie doesn't care what hill she dies on — doesn't think things through carefully.

5. BTW, Ellen doesn't have to use dirt to make humour. She's got the gift naturally. Even when Rosie was paying her dues on MTV, she never came across sincere, but rather forced.

Good Luck and Warm Wishes.

As a gay woman i find it very disturbing that things said in jest can be blown out of all proportion. I think that Kelly has just got a different sense of humour than Rosie, and its obvious that Rosie took the joke the wrong way, i truly believe that political correctness as gone mad.. We all need to take a look at our self and stop being so up tight about things... The way things are going freedom of speech will no longer exist and then both Kelly and Rosie will be out of jobs!!!

I think Rosie was out of line. Just as Kelly stated everything is not "gay bashing" and what I want to know is when did Clay come out of the closet? I think Rosie over stepped her bounds and outed someone that wasn't ready to come out. She should have just kept her mouth shut. She just made herself look stupid

I agree with Kelly, she doesn't socialize with Clay that way. She was protecting her children and family. That doesn't mean she is saying that Clay is gay Rosie put that out there

To think any woman accepts a man putting his hand over her mouth....is accepting an assault....yes no one has a right to put one finger on another....to intimidate or control them!

I would love to see any man put his hand over Rosie's mouth, and would you think...how Rosie would take him out right on stage or tv.

Rosie needs to apologize because Kelly has a right to her own body. Kelly and any woman has a right to JUST SAY NO when someone touchers her body without her permission.
.........sexual preference has nothing to do with assault....and if you're in a store, in a car, or anywhere in public (I guess a few million on tv is considered public), you have a right to object someone trying to put their hands on you.

I would not like anyone to do that to me....got that....I prefer no one to touch my body without my permission...and that's why I carry Pepper Spray, in case they think they can take liberties.......after I yell...loud enough for all to hear...HEY STOP THAT!....if they don't listen, then I must take back control!

Kelly would have said that about anyone gay or not. No one likes their mouth covered.

only think of roughly this. American troops are in charge for the liberty many places on the earth relish. If it exchange into not for American hardship by utilising now Hitler and his successors could of had killed off the Jews thoroughly, France could be speaking German and Asian could have rivers flowing with human blood even for the duration of in the present day. Rosie knows of this so why ought to she belittle the troops? it is in spite of if she is against the Iraqi conflict in specific and conflict/killing generally. Even the Iraqi conflict opposers be attentive to this, so do you think of they're going to disrespect the troops? What i think of she meant is that diverse civilian lives has been lost on condition that American invaded for political motives. So the discomfort we expressed on 9/11 is occurring to them in a manner too. She isn't implying that American troops are ruthless killers. people, you have brains... attempt to apply them now and lower back to confirm the deeper meaning at the back of words!

Don't you have t acknowledge your gay in order for someone to be bashing you? This is a phrase I have heard used and used myself in reference to all kind of situations and people and usually in jest. When people of any minority become overly sensitive it takes away from the true atrocities of bigotry.
