Homeschooling is when you go to school at home, either with the help of your parents, someone they pay to help you, or with on line or correspondence programming.
Public schools are the relatively free government funded schools that most people attend.
Private schools are schools that you pay to attend. Sometimes they are specialty schools (for example, for learning disabilities, arts schools, schools based on religion, etc.).

This varies from one country to the next, but the basic difference is that a public school is a government funded school with a standard curriculum. Each child going through that school receives the same basic education.
Private schools are schools which are paid for by the parents (although in some countries, private schools also receive government funding). The curriculum in the private school differs in some basic way from the curriculum in a public school. It may have a religious basis, it may focus on athletics, or on the arts, or it may be a social thing, where students learn deportment and manners, how to handle themselves in various situations, and things of that nature that are not covered in public schools.
Homeschools are when the student is taught at home. In some cases the student is taught by a parent, in other cases the instruction is given through correspondance courses, or on-line courses. Again, there are many reasons for homeschooling. Some of these include family values, which may conflict with what is taught in the public school. The student may be in an isolated area where it is physically impossible to attend a public school. The student may have some type of disability that makes it difficult to attend a public school.
In some places, there is a basic curriculum for home schooling that stresses reading, writing and arithmetic. Anything else is open for negotiation. In other places there are no restrictions, but students must be graded independently (that is, the parent can not simply say, Yep! He's getting straight A's, if all the youngster has been doing is going out and driving a tractor).
Does this clarify it?

i've got had adventure with homeschool, public college, and private college. the place I lived, the non-public faculties have been exceedingly low-high quality, and the ordinary public faculties have been even worse, so it did no longer take plenty attempt to grant your toddlers a extra useful training than they had get the two way. in my view, i think of homeschooling throughout the time of extreme college is something that could desire to in basic terms be tried in extreme circumstances, and otherwise a public or private college is the final guess. purely positioned, you have no longer have been given school rooms crammed with costly artwork components, lab kit, musical gadgets, nicely-funded drama golf equipment, etc. on the different hand, public and private center faculties could nicely be hell for toddlers, so oftentimes this is ultimate to homeschool them at that age, and then flow them into public college - this is a time whilst all the different teenagers may be making a transition to a sparkling style of educational putting anyhow, so it rather is the main 'organic' time to transition a homeschooled youngster right into a public or private college. so a approaches as homeschooling throughout the time of grade college, do what seems ultimate on your toddlers - and that could desire to be diverse for the different toddlers. i do no longer think of there is any discern who's have been given a bachelor's degree who can not coach a newborn each and every thing they could desire to recognize up via 5th or 6th grade a minimum of (and extra relying on how nicely-rounded their college training became).

HOMESCHOOL: the educational process is done in the child's house with a parent or other adult teaching/supervising
PUBLIC SCHOOL: a place where the government of the country uses trained teachers, classrooms and other buildings to educate all the children of a town or village, and the expenses are paid for with taxes.
PRIVATE SCHOOL: a group of people, often with an "agenda," gather together and form a school with buildings and teachers and educate the children whose parents are willing to pay fees for the privilege.

Public school (in US and Canada) is a government-funded school. Essentially, the government pays for everything through taxpayers' money, except for all the fundraising the schools do for extra things.
Private schools are not fully funded by the government, most not funded in any way by the government except where I live (private schools receive a certain amount of funds if they meet certain curriculum and other requirements). You usually have to pay to attend, but that's not always the case.
Homeschool is when the education takes place at home.

Dpeneds on where you are from.
Home school is being educated at home.
In the UK, ironically Public school and private school are the same thing- where you pay to go to school, eg the famous ones like Rugby or Eton are Public schools (but the public arent allowed to go!) They are more commonly called Private schools, just to avoid confusion.
I think its different in the US though.

wow. there is a lot of things u can get into about schools! I'm only in 8th grade so this might not be the best point of view, but here is my shot!
okay, public school. public schools are government funded schools. many people send their kids to private school because they think that public school is dangerous! i currently attend public school and couldn't ask for a better school!
private schools. private schools are funded by the parents of the students who attend. private school is thought by many parents to be much safer. private schools many times are required to wear uniforms, and many times the students may even attend church services during school hours!
home schooling!!! home schooling is obviously schooling at home! the parents need to have it okayed by the government. they need to have permit and they can run their own schedule. they can choose the days, the schedule, and the hours they put in.
hope i helped and answered your question!
