He is known in our country as the Father of Invention because of many of his marvelous discoveries that helped mankind into the future. He started a newspaper and magazine in Pennsylvania and later re-established the Saturday Evening Post in 1783, we won the war. He was Ambassador to France representing the early colonialists who needed aid from the French in the war against the British, and remained a negotiator with the King of France and finally succeeded in getting the aid we needed to win the battles at hand. He continued to invent and played a big role in Publishing news papers all over the world. Today we still have his inventions to enjoy and his limricks (writings) including the Farmers Almanac, and he is the big face on our 100 dollar bill.
