i am a black person and proud of it, a white is white not racist just a reality, just do not call me colored or ***** and technically i am a person african descent , but learn to read a few book with historically contents before coming on yahoo answers

I do not think calling an African American black is considered racist. Some may prefer to be called African American, but I still don't think calling them "black" is considered racist. I will agree, however, that there are other double standards which are perplexing.

what's the point of this question? If a black person is black and you call them black so what. Why are there so many questions on here about black and white? People trying to play on-line mind games, pathetic. What small minds some people have.

I don't think being called Black is racist, its been a pretty ordinary usage since the 1960's.

Africans (Afrikaners) are mostly white anyway, so calling them blacks is rather stupid. If you do want to piss them off, discuss why they take the homes off the Zulu population, and keep them in poverty.

it make me sooooo mad that colored people call eachother the n word but god forbid someone else too, they sing about it, make movies about it , say it on the streets, but as soon as someone else says it it's like your the bad one so ya it makes me mad and it's not right , they want you to respect them but they don't respect themselves and by the way i'm not racist and i don't call people names but that is the truth

IM NOT RACIST>......but i do think they throw things out of proportion, we just dont take it a sensitivley as they do.
