If you ignore the charge a warrant for your arrest will be issued. It will eventually catch up with you and probably at the most inopportune time. Therefore, if you hire a decent attorney to explain your situation to the judge then most judges will allow you to fulfill any conditions of probation (i.e. DWI class, Community Service, etc) even while living overseas. Remember, if you do not comply with the conditions of the court-ordered probation then a warrant will still be issued. Another option, albeit not a popular one, is to have your attorney work out an arrangement with the judge for you to do minimal jail-time. This is time spent in the local jail, not prison, assuming your DUI was a misdemeanor. Your attorney may be able to make arrangements with the judge so that you have the opportunity to take off from work or what ever you need to do before you do possibly, 2 weeks in jail for a DUI-1st. In some jurisdictions people only spend a few days in jail for a DUI-1st. Either way you need to have legal representation and I would not ignore it if you plan on coming back to the USA.

I think you should talk to a lawyer because you are facing probation and a class.
See here:

Don't ignore it. You don't want to get arrested at an airport or anyplace else...
As for the judge continuing the case, if you were in PA driving under the influence, risking your well-being and the well-being of others, why should the state of PA put its case on hold to suit your schedule?
You didn't put whatever YOU were doing on hold so you could take a cab or get a ride.
Don't be a fugitive. Be a grownup and pay what you have to and do what you have to in order to face up to the consequences of your actions.
Good luck.

If you do not show up, there will be a warrant issued for your arrest.
And yes you can expect to have your driving lisence or rights to drive ( if driving on a over sea license) suspended for a length of time, you may get probation and a fine.
But yes, if you have a warrant, you would be stoped upon entering the US.

You will be found guilty, pay the fines. If it is first DUI you may not have probation. Call the court after and ask them what the results were. You can have a lawyer go in your place for a hefty price my friend paid $1000. You will not have a license either.

no be counted what the crime it is going to likely be a reason to deport. It shouldn't take 3 DUI convictions to deport this guy or woman. He has now killed a million guy or woman and heavily injured yet another. He needs to flow, now; no longer how ever some years sooner or later whilst he gets yet another conviction. There ought to by no ability be voluntary deportation. it is going to consistently be court docket mandated to stay away from them from re-getting into without consequences. How does the gov assume unlawful immigration to resign is they are going to supply them plenty leeway.
