Now look in front of you and notice the footprints you follow. Count them.
Now look at the footprints that follow you. Note the number as well.
How many are walking beside you? How many are carrying upon your shoulders?
Once you find yourself, it's noticing what is around you that got you there as well as the impact you have on others that becomes important.
We can learn so much by finding our own footprints. :) Proud of ya. ;)

go to this website -
http://rtwpi.com/Artist_Videos.html
scroll down until you see the artist named Edgel Groves, and click to watch the video of his "Footprints in the Sand" - it's not only a classic, it's the original, before even that one lady's version of the song. It's definitely worth watching.

I would suggest you back-trace your steps to try to figure out what caused you to be so disoriented.
