Not long enough. He was a criminal he got what he deserved. Why do people like criminals? In response to Raj k. I am entitled to my opinions. So i will post them.

"After leaving the Tyson fight on Saturday September 7, 1996, Tupac was alledgedly shot 5 times. He lived through the shooting and was taken to a nearby hospital. He was pronounced dead on Friday September 13, 1996".

apparently you have no idea about how the record industry works. when an artist makes an album in the studio, there are always songs that don't make the cut for that particular album. the songs aren't thrown away or discarded. they are shelved for another possible project. so when he died, his family was left with those unused songs. they along with the record company have continued to produce and remix those songs with collaborations from other artists to make a new album. that's how his music has survived his death.

He's been dead for about 10 years. Them new albums are just albums with songs that he recorded before he died, mixed with new beats and collaborations.

they are tracks he recorded before his death in 1996, they get new producers and collabos on the albums.. his work is art and there is apparently enough material for another few albums.. :-)

ten years since,may his soul rest in peace,2 me 2pac is a hero he aint no villian.he had weakness' but why concentrate on them..."no one knows my struggle they only see the trouble not knowing its had to carry on when no one loves you.

his company release his albums now and yes he is dead...its been 9 years now.
