i want to invent something, but i do not know where to go or what professional business site to go to make it without my ideas being stolen. please help! thank you!

The process you must go through is called taking out a Patent. You must complete your invention with all the required drawings regarding its manufacture. At this stage keep your idea to yourself as there is no way to safeguard it as yet. Your next step is to contact a Patent Agent who will complete the application forms and arrange for a search to find out that your idea does not infringe any existing Patents. When this is done and it proves to be clear your idea will be submitted to the Patent Office of your country who will grant protection for your invention. After that it is up to you to find a manufacturer interested in making your item on a profit sharing basis. For a web site just do a Google search on Patent Office for your country and it should give you all the details. It is a long process but good luck.
