or did they just forget how?

Seems odd to me that the party that apparently has the "know-how" and resources of stealing the elections in 2000 and 2004 were unable to do so this year. So which is it? Did they steal the elections in the past and "forget how" this year? Or is it possible they didn't steal anything to begin with?

First of all, 2000 and 2004 were presidential election years, which generally turn out better for the party in power than midterm elections. Secondly, the administration has lost popularity when it comes to the "war on terror" and the war in Iraq, which was the central issue of this election and the electorate's dissatisfaction with the state of the war was a huge deciding factor and definitely swung a large portion of the electorate toward the Democratic Party.

steal? gotta have proof befor that can be known, besides everytime a republican wins its a steal or disinfranchised voters or just idiots who dont know how to poke a chad. I think its funny myself that befor the election Democrats were alredy saying they were looking for voter fraud and sent lawyers all over the states to watch then when they won it was all silenced and they never cared about voter problems. Only when they loose do they make that acusation, trying to implant dishonesty in voters heads for the republican party.

You notice that the word steal hasent came up? it is funny however that you ask this question, and your right on the money too.

They didn't forget. They lost by a landslide but could only boost the numbers of votes on their side to make it look more respectable. That's why certain politicans didn't request a post election count. The scam would have been exposed.

Plus, many Republicans pose as Democrats.

The bottom line. The people didn't want the Neofascist Republicanism anymore. The Christians didn't want to be taken advantage of any more.

Americans want an open government in which they can participate. It's time to do more than simply voting.

S. exhibits that the pendulum swings from one occasion to the different and this could be a classic factor. it's going to be thrilling to work out the midterm elections. i think of the Republicans will take a great variety of seats decrease back in the congress.

I'd say they did not steal anything in 200 and 2004. I suspect the other side performed some chicanery in 2006, but the Republicans will not file any challenges.

There is another option/answer to your idiotic question: they were under too much scrutiny to steal it this time because the country finally woke up and realized what happened the last two times!!!!

The Republicans won in 2000 and 2004 in spite of all the fraud that the democrats perpetrated.
