hey in wondering how to fade green into grey i need to know for some art coursework and my teacher wasnt any help the materials we are allowed to use are water colour pencils and a 2b lead pencil? any help gratefully recieved

sorry i meant blend my teachers been going on about making things fade its gotten stuck in my head

add its compliment red and the green will fade to gray

use your green pencil and do a gradation of green to white then go over the green at the place where it matches the lead pencil in shape then start gently applying the lead pencil to the green gradation and gradually get heavier with it until you have achieved a blend if you feel that it still needs something then continue the blend with your finger rubbing the areas needing blending.

Put green along side grey and blend away. Use fingers or whatever and a little water as the vehicle.
Remember----fade always goes to white.

yellow and black mix to make green shade and work it down to a thin black with white.
has an olive like color

Try mixing it with white and brown.
