well i don't like ps2 as such its a lame console compared to the 360 but here goes...
We love katamari
Metal gear solid 2 (3 isnt as good and camera ruins it)
Guitaroo man + guitar hero
final fantasy X
GTA:SA
beyond good and evil
red faction 1
shadowhearts
Clocktower
Silent hill
Tekken
eyetoy play
and loads more but those i would suggest you try out.!!!

I haven't managed to try a lot of games but out of the ones I have, I gotta say that "Spiderman 2: The movie game" was great. I've also heard that "Castlevania: Curse of Darkness" is quite good. I hope to try it out soon.

need for speed undergroung 2 is the coolest. you make your own car with like body kits, neon, spoilers and windowmask. if you win some streetraces you can get parts like turbo upgrades nitrous oxide, cold air intake, suspention all the good stuff, its so fun

Guitarooman is the best. It is crazy, crazy crazy!!! But a lot of fun.
The GTA series are popular and fun (violent though).
