We're a Military family stationed in Italy,so we have already had dinner here! We ate about four hours ago! But it was really good and now we're all just sitting around being lazy! We would love nothing more then to be home in the States with the rest of our family and friends on this great holiday! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Taking a break?!? I'm taking the whole stinkin day off!!
I've been cooking the holiday dinners for thanksgiving and christmas for over the last five years. I decided that since the in-laws don't appreciate my cooking, and backhand me by thanking my wife (their daughter) for providing such a wonderful meal, that this year I'm saying the H*LL with it - if they want the family to sit down to a good meal, they can either fix it their D*MN selves, or take us all out - and since they can't cook worth CR*P, they elected to take us all out, but not until tomorrow (since her poor mummy can't stand crowds).....
(Sorry I'm so bitter, but when I spend up to and over 12 hours in the kitchen turning out a meal good enough for royalty, you get tired of not being appreciated)

Yes. I made some side dishes to take to my niece's house. She's such a sweetheart this year offering to have the Thanksgiving dinner at her house.

Me. I've been cooking all morning. I'm up to the scalloped potatoes & I've been dropping in between chopping, stirring, & all that jazz. I love the scents of the holidays. Happy Thanksgiving!
